Merging the Florida sound and Los Angeles culture, breakbeat has never been more interesting.

With an influence going back to the early days of club shows and breakbeat events, Tek5 is a music producer and remixer.  He maintains friendship and networking with some of America’s greatest electronic music talents and aspires to find something different with music, and as a result has found a place in his heart for the cooperative electronic music environment.

Inspirations range from breaks and drum n bass to modern pop and alternative music.

A socal native, Jonathan grew up visiting local hotspots all around los angeles. It wasn’t until he turned 18 he visited his first music festival, Electric Daisy Carnivale. With the inspiration and joy found at this festival, Jonathan set out to learn more and create his own electronic style.

In this environment of cooperative works, this can be one of the best ways to cross promote music. When DJs, Electronic Musicians, Male and Female Vocalists and others collaborate, the new works can be a derivative work that has a new rockin sound…which is the key.
